This policy explains what the Nearly Same app (“Nearly Same”, “the app”) does with information about you. Nearly Same is published by Nikmesoft Company, Ltd. (“Nikmesoft”, “we”). Questions: [email protected].
The short version
- Nearly Same is a party game played on one phone passed between players. It works offline.
- The app collects no data: no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. On the App Store its privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
- One optional purchase, processed by Apple, unlocks more picture packs.
- We only receive what you choose to send us by email, and, if you allowed it in your iPhone's settings, anonymous crash reports from Apple.
What the app collects
Nothing. Nearly Same has no account or sign-in and does not connect to our servers or anyone else's. The rounds you play and your settings stay on your device and are removed when you delete the app. The app contains no advertising, analytics or other third-party SDKs, and it does not use an advertising identifier, your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
Purchases
One optional in-app purchase unlocks more picture packs. Purchases are processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the packs are unlocked, so that Restore Purchases can unlock them again on your other devices or after reinstalling.
Emails you send us
- Support. Help links in the app open your own mail app with a message to [email protected]. Nothing is sent unless you send it yourself.
- “Report this pair”. This button also opens your mail app, with a message that contains only the number of the pair and the version of the app. You can read it, change it or not send it.
When you email us we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to answer you and to improve the game, and we never share it. Ask us at the same address if you want your messages deleted.
Crash reports
If you have turned on Share With App Developers in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics about the app with us. Apple collects them, under Apple's privacy policy; they do not identify you to us. We use them only to fix bugs. You can turn this off at any time in the same settings.
Children
Nearly Same is a game for groups of friends and families and collects no data from anyone, children included.
Changes
If a future version of the app changes what is described here, we will update this policy and the date above before that version is released.
