Terms of Use
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the FamiGuard apps for iPhone and Android and the FamiGuard service, published by Nikmesoft Company, Ltd. (“we”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use FamiGuard.
1. Using FamiGuard responsibly
- FamiGuard is for parents and legal guardians, to see the location of their own children, and for adult family members who agree to share their own location with their family. To create a parent account you must be an adult and the parent or legal guardian of the children you add.
- Only install FamiGuard on the device of a child whose parent or legal guardian you are. An adult family member joins only by signing in on their own phone and agreeing on the confirmation screen. Never set up FamiGuard on another adult's phone, or use it to locate or monitor an adult, without their agreement. Tracking a person without the right to do so may be illegal.
- Keep your password and pairing codes private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other families' data, overload or disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows.
2. What FamiGuard can and cannot do
Location, notifications and alerts depend on the phone, its settings, battery, GPS signal and network connection, and on third-party services. They can be late, inaccurate or missing. FamiGuard is not an emergency service and does not replace contacting the emergency services or supervising a child.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
- Premium features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown in the app.
- Purchases are made through the store you installed FamiGuard from: the App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless auto-renewal is turned off before the end of the current period: at least 24 hours before it on the App Store; before the renewal date on Google Play. You are charged for the renewal near the end of the period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription on iPhone in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, and on Android in the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- A purchase unlocks premium features for the FamiGuard account you were signed in to when you bought it. It is not shared between the App Store and Google Play.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its policies: Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com, Order history).
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the messages, photos and recordings you send. You give us permission to store and transmit them only to provide the service to you and your family. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
5. Ending your use
You can stop using FamiGuard and delete your account at any time (Account → Account Settings → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate, late or missing locations or notifications. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
7. Apple
If you use the iPhone app: these terms are between you and Nikmesoft, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Where these terms do not cover something, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
8. Google
If you use the Android app: these terms are between you and Nikmesoft, not Google. Your use of Google Play and purchases made through it are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for the app or its support.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is important we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use FamiGuard after that means you accept the new terms.
