What it does

One tap cleans up a whole group: “Keep the best, delete N others”. A preview shows what stays and what goes before anything is deleted.

In each group of similar photos, Feather Roll picks the shot with faces in focus and eyes open.

You stay in charge

Photos you've marked as favourites are never picked automatically. When a group is hard to call, Feather Roll marks it “Check yourself” and leaves the choice to you.

Trips become albums

Feather Roll groups the photos of a trip so you can keep them together as an album.

Probably one-time: very short dark videos, and “1 item moved to Recently Deleted” with 30 days to recover it

Look closely, change your mind

Open any photo full screen before you decide. Deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days, so you can get them back.

Your photos stay yours

We don't collect your personal data. On the App Store, Feather Roll's privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.

Feather Roll looks at your photos on your device only, with Apple's Photos and Vision frameworks. It uploads no photo and no location anywhere.
No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
Place names come from a list built into the app, so no location is sent anywhere.
The only request the app makes to us is a small update check, which adds no account ID, device identifier, photo, location or usage data. Like any web request, it carries your IP address, which our hosting provider (Cloudflare) receives; our website does not log it.
Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
