Terms of Use
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the File Opener & Extractor: ZIP app (“Zip Extractor”), published by Nikmesoft Company, Ltd. (“we”). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. Your files
The files you open, extract or create stay on your device or in the storage you choose, and remain yours. You are responsible for having the right to use them.
2. Keep your own copies
Archives can be damaged or incomplete, and some formats or features are not supported (see Support). Keep the original archive until you have checked the extracted files, and keep separate copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. If you forget the password of a ZIP file you created, we cannot recover it.
3. Premium
- From version 1.2, opening and extracting archives and creating regular ZIP files are free, with no limit on how often you use them (only the safety limits described on the Support page apply). Premium adds password-protected ZIP files; the premium screen in the app shows what it includes before you buy.
- Premium is available as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- “Restore Purchases” in the app restores premium on another device signed in with the same Apple ID.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the app to handle content that is illegal or that you have no right to, and don't attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the app beyond what the law allows.
5. No warranty
Zip Extractor is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that it can open every archive.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
