Terms of Use
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Secure Vault app, published by Nikmesoft Company, Ltd. (“we”). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. Your content
Everything you store in Secure Vault stays on your device and remains yours. You are responsible for the content you store and for having the right to store it.
2. Keep your own copies
Your files are encrypted with a key that exists only on your device and in your iCloud or encrypted device backups. If you forget your passcode, delete the app, lose your device without a suitable backup, or restore from an unencrypted computer backup, your files cannot be recovered — by you or by us. Keep separate copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
3. Premium
- Premium is available as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- “Restore Purchases” in the app restores premium on another device signed in with the same Apple ID.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Secure Vault to store or share content that is illegal, and don't attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the app beyond what the law allows. When you use Wi-Fi transfer, use it only on networks you trust.
5. No warranty
Secure Vault is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that it protects against every threat, for example someone who knows your passcode or controls your unlocked device.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
