Where are the parent settings?

Tap the gear on the home screen. That opens your child's own settings (colors and themes). The parent settings — sound, language and simple mode — are behind the lock button at the bottom; answer the multiplication question to open them.

What is the multiplication question?

It is a parental gate: a question young children can't easily answer, so they can't share pictures, delete drawings or change grown-up settings by accident. After three wrong answers it waits ten seconds.

What is simple mode?

For the youngest children: eight big colors, no zoom and no “clear all” button, so a stray tap can't spoil a picture. Turn it on in the parent settings.

How do I turn the sounds off?

In the parent settings, turn off Sound. On iPhone and iPad the sounds also follow the silent switch.

Pictures and drawings

How do I save or share a picture?

Open “My artworks” (the picture button on the home screen), choose a picture and tap Share, then answer the parental gate. On iPhone and iPad, choose “Save Image” in the share sheet to save it to Photos.

Are pictures saved automatically?

Yes. Coloring and drawings are saved on the device as your child goes. Every picture your child has started appears in “My artworks”; free drawings are in “My drawings”.

How do I delete a drawing?

In “My drawings”, tap the delete button on a drawing and answer the parental gate. Deleting can't be undone.

Can I move the pictures to a new device?

There is no account or cloud sync, so pictures stay on the device they were made on. A full device backup and restore may bring them along, depending on the device and backup service; to keep a picture for sure, share it to Photos or Files first.
